Marjory Boddy Charitable Trust

A local charitable trust helping local people by supporting local charities

Welcome to
The Marjory Boddy Charitable Trust

The Chester-based Trust was set up in 2002 to manage the assets and investments of the late Marjory Boddy, who lived in Lache Lane, Chester, and was during her lifetime a keen supporter and benefactor of many local good cases.

SECTORS WE SUPPORT

The Marjory Boddy Charitable Trust meets three times a year to consider applications for grants from registered charities that are involved in, but not confined to, the areas of health, education, welfare and the arts.

LOCAL CHARITIES

Applicants should be based within the Chester, West Cheshire or immediate surrounding areas, and/or be able to demonstrate that their activities or services deliver a direct benefit or meet the specific needs of groups or individuals within those local communities.

APPLICATIONS

The Trust particularly welcomes applications from charities for projects and other initiatives that enable others to help themselves and create sustainable outcomes.

Apply

If your charity is based within the Chester, West Cheshire or immediate surrounding areas and/or is able to demonstrate that their activities deliver a direct benefit or meet the specific needs of groups or individuals within those local communities, then you could be considered for a grant.

It’s a privilege to be able to offer financial support to organisations that make such a difference to the well-being, choices and quality of life of so many people in our local communities.”
